The shampoo also has tocopheryl acetate (lab-made vitamin E) and ethylhexylglycerin (a lab-made preservative helper), and the conditioner has stearalkonium chloride (a lab-made conditioning agent Babo doesn’t mark as plant-based). Both are scented with what Babo calls plant-based fragrance, but it doesn’t say what’s in it.

📦 Packaging: Shampoo comes in a water-resistant carton that Babo says uses 80% less plastic than a bottle, with a flip-top cap. Conditioner is in a plastic tube made with 44% recycled plastic.
