✨ The Honest Kitchen – Human grade dry dog food, pressed into clusters rather than extruded kibble. The ingredient list reads like food, not feed.
🌿 Ingredients: Chicken, peas, potatoes, lentils, flaxseed, chicken liver, carrots, coconut oil, eggs, broccoli, pumpkin, apples, fish oil, kale, dried kelp, chia seed and turmeric. No added colors.
⚠️ What We Want You To Know: The label includes “natural chicken flavor,” a vague industry term no brand has to explain. It is preserved with mixed tocopherols (a form of vitamin E) and rosemary extract. It also carries choline chloride, tricalcium phosphate and sodium selenite, which are lab-made nutrients rather than food.
💚 Progress Over Perfection: Roughly five processed ingredients out of about thirty, and the rest is food. The bag is not glass or metal, and the brand has not published what this one is lined with.
