✨ Dirty Labs: Bio Enzyme Laundry Detergent, hyper-concentrated, 80 loads in a 21.6 fl oz aluminum bottle. Comes Free & Clear (no added fragrance) or in Signature and Murasaki scents.
🍃 Ingredients (as listed by Dirty Labs, Free & Clear): lauryl glucoside, water, caprylyl/capryl glucoside, glycerine, capryloyl/caproyl methyl glucamide, coconut fatty acid, protease (subtilisin), sodium citrate, potassium hydroxide, propanediol, alpha-amylase, cellulase, mannanase, pectate lyase, sodium hydroxide, propylene glycol. The Signature and Murasaki scents add fragrances, which Dirty Labs says are a mix of natural and synthetic ingredients.
✅ The Good: The cleaners are made from sugar and coconut, with glycerine, sodium citrate and five enzymes that break down protein, starch and food stains.
💚 Progress Over Perfection: Propylene glycol is a lab-made solvent that is often petroleum-based (Dirty Labs doesn’t say, though the Free & Clear is certified 100% USDA Biobased). Small amounts of potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide (lye) balance the pH. In the scented versions, part of the fragrance is synthetic.
📦 Packaging: Recyclable aluminum bottle instead of a plastic jug.
